physiotherapy after fracture

If you’re recovering from a fracture, you’re likely feeling pain and stiffness from the effects of immobilization. Being in a sling, cast or boot allows for the bone to heal post fracture. However, once healed, it is important to get your movement back as soon as possible. By seeing one of our experienced Physiotherapists, we will assess your range of motion, strength and function and get you back to moving again when it is safe.

Have you had a recent surgery? Perhaps it has been a few months and you still don’t have the range of motion or strength you once had. Perhaps you have an upcoming surgery and want to know more about what to expect after your surgery. Common orthopedic surgeries where research supports physiotherapy post operatively include but are not limited to joint replacements (ie knee and hip), ACL repair, Rotator cuff repair, and spinal surgeries. Our therapists are trained in following the appropriate protocols at any stage post operatively to ensure your safety and optimal recovery.
